Legionella Sampling & Analysis of Hot & Cold Water Services & CWST Inspections

Recommendations state that water samples are taken from various points throughout the building, to include nearest and furthest (sentinel) outlets. Samples are analysed for TVC’s @37’C and 22’C, E.Coli & Coliforms. The DHW is also analysed for legionella. In addition, an inspection of all CWST’s is undertaken to report sediment levels on a RED, AMBER, GREEN scale in an effort to advise on necessary action to be taken, as sediment is a nutrient to bacterial growth.
