In Service Testing of Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMV)

The purpose of in-service testing of Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs) is to ensure that the valves are functioning correctly.

Regular monitoring of the TMVs is essential to ensure the performance of the thermostatic mixing valves is maintained at all times, as this will identify any failure whilst in operation.

Bi-annual in-service testing is recommended or as per manufacturer’s recommendations.
